SOKER was one of only three remaining founding members of Movistar Riders, the team Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas and Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran formed last year to try and impulse a Spanish squad to international play. He and DeathZz, who was brought on to take loWel‘s place when the Spaniard left to HellRaisers last spring, have been moved to the bench as the Spanish side is looking to make changes.
Since loWel and mixwell‘s departures Movistar Riders have struggled to find their previous form, with the days of being on the brink of becoming a top 30 team now behind them. The changes come after several failed online qualifying runs as well as a painful loss to Heretics in LVP’s La Copa final in Madrid earlier this month.
Looking forward, the Spanish team will be playing the current ESEA MDL Europe season as well as the European Champions Cup, where they will try to find better form than they have had since the end of summer.
The two outgoing players have stated that Riders will be hearing offers for them and an announcement about their replacements is expected to be made by the organization in the coming days.
