Doubles by Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen cleared the way for Astralis to win the first round on the defending side of Nuke. It was then Emil “Magisk” Reif and Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth who got doubles against a pistol buy on the second round. gla1ve and dupreeh again got doubles against a pistol force to keep their team ahead 3-0 ahead of the first gun round. Natus Vincere scored their first point with a clean round. A 4vs2 retake on B worked out for Astralis, who kept their three round lead. A triple by Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, including a 1vs1 afterplant clutch, and double by Denis “electronic” Sharipov secured another for Na`Vi, who were able to follow it up against a forcebuy and even it up against an eco.
Egor “flamie” Vasilyev put his team ahead with a 1vs1 afterplant clutch on B, and then he and s1mple were able to stall Astralis long enough for the bomb to go off despite falling to gla1ve. Down 4-9, Xyp9x was finally able to win a 1vs1 clutch before getting a triple to go 6-9 before the switch.
Astralis played a B rush successfully to kick off the second half, following it up against a forcebuy and a pistol buy to bring it back even. They then took the lead on the first gun round before Natus Vincere took a crucial round to keep it near even. With s1mple at the helm, Natus Vincere were able to regain the lead on the defense, 14-12, but were unable to close it out as the Danes brought it to a tie with two rounds to be played. Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács got three kills in the 29th round with a saved AWP to get Natus Vincere on match point, but were unable to follow it up, ending 15-15.
